There is a route that goes past the Wellington Museum and Archives and then across a trestle bridge high over the Grand River. This is a very interesting hike but it's a bit more challenging than the two previous routes. It's longer (about 7Km) and has some slightly more rugged sections. As compensation, it has some very pretty stretches, and gets you back into Elora across the footbridge by Bissell park.
