Metcalfe Street has excellent shops and restaurants on both sides of the street.

Don't get so caught up in the plethora of excellent specialty shops on the main Elora streets that you overlook some really fine shops that are just a few steps along the side streets. For example, go down Mill Street East to discover fine dining, pottery, etc. Or take a short walk down Church street for glass works.
